Baton Rouge Green’s Louisiana Arbor Day 2017
Susan Turner attended Baton Rouge Green's Louisiana Arbor Day 2017 celebrating their 30th anniversary where she was acknowledged by Jed Morris.
Jed wrote an article titled 'Reminiscence of Early Days of Baton Rouge Green' where he speaks to Susan's involvement in the infancy of Baton Rouge Green. He writes "Suzanne Turner summarized the impact of Baton Rouge Green's plantings as growing the feeling of coming 'into the forest.' Suzanne felt that planting a diversity of native trees was important. The 'fall deciduous oaks' were the most important element of the urban landscape."
